During the 3rd quarter of 1998 the 52nd ADA, 6th Bn, Btry D (Hardheim post) Alumni Association founded one of the first Yahoo! Clubs. The site can be reached at http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/d652ada. The site will allow greater participation and more immediate access to sharing information for all veterans, family, and friends of Hardheim.

During the 2nd quarter of 1997 the 52nd ADA, 6th Bn, Btry D (Hardheim post) Alumni Association was officially "launched". An internet website was established, officially linked to the US Army website Alumni Listings Database, and the first Association Commander, Bob Mueller was elected to fill a two year term.
The Association was established to:
- Establish a contact point for former soldiers, family members, and friends of D btry, 6/52nd ADA (HAWK).
- Revive and strengthen German-American friendships.
- Organize reunions, maintain an alumni roster, collect and preserve D btry, 6/52nd ADA (HAWK) memorabilia.
- Support the same functions for alumni of C btry, 3/71st ADA (NIKE). To assist in the establishment of an Alumni Association for NIKE in Hardheim if so desired.
D btry, 6/52nd ADA was a remote air defense artillery unit assigned in the 1980's to a post on the outskirts of Hardheim, Germany. As a part of the 32nd Army Air Defense Command (32AADCOM), "Delta" was an integral part of NATO's western Europe defense network.
